Make Up Trends Fall/Autumn 2016

Hello beauties!

Sadly to report due to the fact I live in the UK, Scotland in particular I have had to unfortunately surrender to reality: the tiny bit of summer that we did get is now well and truly over, leaving little but our fake tan with it. However, I like to take a positive from every situation so what better time than to refresh our make up bags and try out some new looks for the colder, crisper days that are just around the corner.

They're is something for everyone whether you love to experiment eyeshadow is back as well as bold brows staying put be as crazy as you like or as nude as you like just don't be shy. Eyeliner never goes out of style does it? The blacker the better for me but everyone is different there are some beautiful dark greens and blues that set off any smokey eye from day to night.

Does flashy eye make up give you the fear? Not a problem, another huge trend this season is still the natural look; those naked palettes will still be heavily used and loved as before. Focus on using lighter shades, a little shimmer that doesn't blind people but lets your eyes make a statement!




I love a dark lip in autumn and dark nails so if you can't or don't like the make up thing there's also a way to get your personality into your look making sure no matter what you have a glam autumn! I'll do another more indepth posts with my favourite items for autumn soon.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Range

I love make up. I like high end brands (although mostly can't afford them) but I also like high street and low end brands. I've never tried collection 2000 foundation as I usually like Bourjois and Maybelline but thought I would try it out. Review Gosh Foundation Primer

This is my first primer I have to admit. I had read really good things about this and as I'm a bridesmaid in a few days time, and have decided to do my own make up!, I really wanted something that would be good for an all day set on my make up. This is a fantastic product. Its soooo smooth hence the velvet touch name. It also has quite a nice fragrance as well. I only needed a tiny amount and my make up stayed on all night with no touch up needed.This primer provides a great finish and evens out everything. It dries in really quickly as well and soaks great into the skin. I used this after moisturising, under my foundation and then set it with a loose powder. There are so many primers on the market and I dont use it every day only really on nights out and things but it definetely does what it says.
