Job Interview Make Up Tips....

So at the moment a lot of us are job hunting, pounding the pavements looking for our next brilliant career move, or just some cash! First impressions last so as well as looking your best with your outfit make up is just as , if not, more, important!

You want to convey your attention to detail and neatness, look smart and these are all key to your appearance. I always feel more confident when I look my best and this will come across to your interview panel.

I like to keep it simple. Wash and dry your hair the night before, or the morning of the interview, depending on your routine and ensuring your not late!

If you have long hair, I would perhaps tie it up put it in a nice sleek bun etc. that always looks good, or wear it down nice and styled.

Exfoliate your skin the night before and put on lip balm to ensure your lips are nice and soft for the interview day.

I really like the benefit big beautiful eyes palette and the too faced romantic palette.

Give yourself plenty of time to get ready, extra 10 to 15 minutes is always good. Depending on how much time you want to spend use a light foundation or loose powder with concealer. I tend to go for neutral make up, this isn't the time to go crazy, it doesn't mean a nice bronze smoky eye can't work but perhaps leave the glitter till the weekend ;-)

Use a sheer lip colour, lipstick is good and you won't have to worry about your hair sticking to your lipgloss. Curl your lashes and apply a few coats of your favourite mascara. I like to use Max Factor Masterpiece brand and L'Oreal Million Lashes.

Tweeze any stray eyebrows and groom. Brow gel will keep everything in place. A little blush should be a nice finishing touch for a healthy glow.

Fragrance is optional we don't want to choke anyone, so something light I love to use DKNY Pure.

Keep nails neutral, clean and even, perhaps get a manicure if you have time. A nice nude colour or light pink is good however you can choose which is best.

Most importantly, smile and be confident! They have chosen you specifically so give it your all and if it doesn't work out you can always go spoil yourself to some new make up afterwards

Good Luck!
